First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at how certain cues, like visual or auditory signals, help people with Parkinson's disease move more easily. Researchers will use EEG and MRI to watch brain activity while participants perform movement tasks. The goal is to find brain patterns that could lead to new treatments for symptoms like freezing of gait. About 90 adults with Parkinson's or healthy volunteers will take part.
