First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looks at how the brain's map of the back changes in people with chronic low back pain compared to healthy volunteers. Researchers will use a special surface that provides touch feedback during brain scans (fMRI) to see if it can retrain the brain. The goal is to find brain patterns that could lead to better, personalized treatments for chronic pain.
