Looking back to see forward: can better brain monitoring save lives?

NCT ID NCT07285733

Summary

This study analyzed data from 50 patients who had already been treated for severe traumatic brain injury or a type of brain bleed. Researchers looked back at detailed brain monitoring records to understand how changes in treatment affected blood flow and oxygen in the brain. The goal is to learn if this kind of intensive monitoring can help doctors provide more personalized care to future patients in the ICU.
