Scientists hunt for hidden damage in Kids' blood after brain cancer treatment

NCT ID NCT07381959

Summary

This study aims to find signs in the blood that show if brain cancer treatments are causing injury to a child's brain. Researchers will follow 560 children with brain tumors and healthy kids, taking blood samples over three years to compare those who get radiation, chemotherapy, or surgery. The goal is to learn how different treatments affect the brain so doctors can better monitor and protect children's brain health in the future.
