Brain scans track hidden damage from cancer treatment
NCT ID NCT05128903
Summary
This study aims to understand how radiation therapy for brain tumors causes inflammation in the brain. Researchers will use special PET scans and optional MRI scans on 22 children with medulloblastoma to measure this inflammation over two years. The goal is to learn how this inflammation relates to radiation dose and future thinking and memory problems.
