New brain scans shed light on Alzheimer's inflammation

Summary
This study uses special PET/CT scans to measure inflammation in the brains of people with Alzheimer's disease or mild cognitive impairment, compared to healthy volunteers. Nine participants will receive an experimental radioactive tracer to see how inflammation relates to Alzheimer's. The goal is to better understand the disease, not to treat it.
