Summary
This early-stage study is testing the safety and basic function of a tiny brain implant. The goal is to see if people who have lost the ability to speak due to conditions like ALS or a stroke can control a computer to communicate just by thinking. The research involves a small number of participants to see if the technology is safe and if it can decode thoughts into words.
