Summary
This early study is testing a brain implant designed to help people with severe paralysis communicate. A small group of adults with conditions like ALS or spinal cord injury will have a device surgically placed in their brain by a robot. The main goal is to see if this system is safe and if it can translate brain signals into words on a computer screen.
