First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study used PET scans to measure alpha2-adrenergic receptors in the brains of 16 healthy men. The goal was to test how well the imaging method works and whether a single dose of clonidine can block the tracer. It was a phase 1 study focused on understanding the technique, not treating any disease.
