Summary
This study tests a new imaging drug called [18F]MK-0947 that works with a PET scan to show clumps of a protein linked to Parkinson's disease in the brain. Researchers want to see if it is safe and can help diagnose Parkinson's or track its progression. The study involves about 22 adults with Parkinson's and healthy volunteers. It is not a treatment, but could lead to better tools for understanding the disease.
