NCT ID NCT04246437
First seen Nov 14, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study uses a special PET scan to measure dopamine production in the brains of people with autonomic failure, including those with Parkinson's disease, Multiple System Atrophy, or Dementia with Lewy Bodies. The goal is to find early signs that predict if a person with pure autonomic failure will develop a more serious brain disorder. Researchers will scan 40 adults to compare dopamine activity across different conditions.
