Can a spot on a brain scan predict your fate after a stroke?
NCT ID NCT07172542
Summary
This study aims to see if certain features on brain scans, particularly something called the 'Spot Sign,' can help doctors better predict which patients with brain bleeding are at highest risk of death or severe disability. Researchers will follow 50 patients with brain hemorrhages, comparing their actual outcomes to existing prediction tools. The goal is to improve risk assessment, not to test a new treatment.
