Summary
This study aims to understand the best blood pressure levels to maintain during surgery for optimal brain health in older adults. Researchers will monitor brain electrical activity and oxygen levels in 100 patients aged 60+ undergoing major non-cardiac surgery. The goal is to learn if personalized blood pressure targets during surgery can help prevent postoperative confusion and thinking problems.
