Can a quick brain game predict Post-Surgery confusion?

NCT ID NCT06245005

Summary

This study tested whether a short, 6-game brain exercise on a tablet is practical to use in busy pre-surgery areas. Researchers wanted to see if a patient's score on these games could help predict their risk of developing delirium (a state of sudden confusion) after a major operation. The study involved 120 older adults to gather initial data for planning larger future research.
