New scan seeks clues to Alzheimer's in the brain

NCT ID NCT05336695

Summary

This study is testing a new type of brain scan to measure a protein called fibrin in people with and without Alzheimer's disease. Researchers want to see if there are differences in fibrin levels between healthy individuals and those with memory problems. The goal is to better understand the role of fibrin in Alzheimer's, which could help guide future research. This is not a treatment study.
