Summary

This study uses a special PET scan to measure levels of a protein called fibrin in the brains of 30 people, including those with Alzheimer's or related dementias and healthy volunteers. The goal is to see if fibrin builds up differently in certain brain regions. This is an observational study that aims to improve understanding of the disease, not to test a treatment.
