Scientists probe Brain's chemical clues to personalize psychosis care

NCT ID NCT07196423

Summary

This research aims to understand how a brain chemical called glutamate is linked to memory and attention problems in people who have experienced psychosis. It will involve brain scans and a safe, non-invasive brain stimulation technique to see if glutamate levels can help predict who might benefit from such stimulation in the future. The study also includes interviews to learn about the personal challenges faced by individuals with psychosis.
