First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at why some stroke survivors develop long-term pain called central poststroke pain (CPP). Researchers will use brain scans to see how brain connections change in people with CPP. The goal is to better understand what causes this pain, which could lead to better treatments in the future. About 88 adults who have had a stroke affecting their sense of touch will take part.
