Researchers investigate hidden brain changes in cerebral palsy
NCT ID NCT07433647
Summary
This study aims to understand if the brains of adults with cerebral palsy change over time, which might explain why some people experience worsening function as they age. Researchers will analyze existing and new MRI brain scans from 30 adults with cerebral palsy across the U.S. to look for changes in brain size and structure. The goal is to gather knowledge to improve future care, not to test a treatment.
