Summary

This completed Phase 2 trial tested whether adding a new drug called LY2157299 to standard lomustine chemotherapy, or using LY2157299 alone, could help people with recurrent glioblastoma brain cancer live longer compared to standard chemotherapy alone. The study involved 158 participants whose brain cancer had returned after initial treatment. Researchers measured how long patients lived, how long their cancer stayed controlled, and how treatments affected their symptoms and thinking abilities.
