New drug duo tested in fight against recurrent brain cancer

NCT ID NCT05484622

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety and initial effects of combining two drugs, vorasidenib and pembrolizumab, in adults with a recurrent or worsening type of brain tumor called glioma. The goal is to see if this combination can help control the cancer by boosting the immune system's attack on the tumor. Participants will receive the drugs before and after planned surgery to remove their tumor.
