Scientists use breathing mask and MRI to peer inside the brain

NCT ID NCT04258774

Summary

This study aims to understand how blood flow and oxygen use differ between healthy brains and brains affected by disease. Researchers will use an MRI scanner and a special mask that controls what gases participants breathe to see how the brain reacts. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about brain health, not to test a treatment.
