Scientists scan brains to unlock secrets of oxygen delivery
NCT ID NCT04258774
Summary
This study aims to understand how blood flow and oxygen use in the brain differ between healthy people and those with blood vessel problems. Researchers will use MRI scans while participants breathe air with controlled levels of oxygen and carbon dioxide through a special mask. The goal is to learn how the brain's blood vessels respond to these breathing challenges, which could improve future understanding of brain health.
