First seen Apr 16, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at why some stroke patients don't get better even after doctors successfully remove a blood clot from their brain. Researchers at the University of Zurich will use special MRI scans to measure blood flow changes in 100 adult stroke survivors over 90 days. The goal is to find a better way to identify and understand this 'reperfusion failure' so future treatments can be improved.
