Danish nationwide trial aims to find safer drainage method for common brain bleed surgery
NCT ID NCT06621407
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to drain fluid after surgery for a chronic brain bleed (subdural hematoma). It will compare two common drainage methods used for 24 hours after the operation. The goal is to see if a newer, potentially safer method works as well as the current standard at preventing the bleed from returning and reducing serious complications.
