Scientists track baby brains to unlock Autism's early signs

NCT ID NCT06329245

Summary

This study aims to understand how social behaviors and brain connections develop differently in infants who have a higher chance of developing autism. Researchers will follow 100 infants, some with an older sibling with autism and some without, from 3 months to 3 years old. They will use play-based assessments, brain scans (MRI), and brainwave tests (EEG) to track development over time.
