Doctors launch major study to track Long-Term results of brain vessel treatment
NCT ID NCT02879071
Summary
This study aims to collect long-term follow-up data from 1,000 adults who have undergone a procedure called embolization to treat abnormal tangles of blood vessels in the brain (arteriovenous malformations or AVMs). Because there is no standard way to track patients after this treatment, reliable long-term information is scarce. The research will gather standardized information over many years to better understand patient outcomes.
