Scientists use 3D imaging to watch Stroke-Causing plaque evolve
NCT ID NCT03295773
Summary
This study aims to understand how plaque inside the brain's arteries changes shape and size over one year in people who have had a stroke. Researchers will use a detailed 3D imaging scan at the start and after 12 months to closely measure these changes. The goal is to learn more about how strokes happen and how artery disease progresses, which could inform future treatments.
