Does knowing you have a brain bubble harm your mental health?
NCT ID NCT06123325
Summary
This study aims to understand how the knowledge of having an unruptured brain aneurysm affects a person's anxiety and depression. Researchers will compare the mental health of about 120 patients who choose to have their aneurysm treated with those who are monitored over time without treatment. The goal is to learn if the stress of living with the diagnosis impacts well-being more than the treatment itself.
