Summary
This study looks at brain activity in people with Parkinson's disease or essential tremor who are already scheduled for deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgery. Researchers want to understand how the brain handles both movement problems and non-motor issues like memory or mood changes. About 90 adults will take part, and the study only involves extra recordings during their planned surgery—no new treatments are tested.
