NCT ID NCT06276894

First seen Mar 31, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a portable brain imaging device (fNIRS) can safely and effectively measure brain activity in people with chronic traumatic brain injury while they walk on a treadmill with virtual reality. Eight participants completed the sessions, and researchers checked for falls, comfort, and data quality. The goal was to see if this approach is feasible, not to treat the injury.
