First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests a new device that measures radiation dose in real time during a type of cancer treatment called brachytherapy. The goal is to catch any errors in radiation delivery, making treatment safer. About 20 people with prostate or gynecologic cancers will take part. The device is not yet used in routine care, so this study checks if it works well without slowing down treatment.
