NCT ID NCT06511596

First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tested a product called BR-AC, made from donated birth tissue, for treating diabetic foot ulcers. 71 adults with diabetes and hard-to-heal foot sores were split into two groups: one got standard wound care plus BR-AC, the other got standard care alone. The goal was to see if BR-AC helps wounds close completely within 12 weeks. People who didn't heal with standard care could later try BR-AC.
