First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated Jun 06, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study compares a newer surgical technique (IDLnR) with standard laparoscopic surgery for women with bowel endometriosis. About 192 premenopausal women aged 18-55 with confirmed bowel endometriosis and bowel symptoms will be randomly assigned to one of the two surgeries. The main goal is to see if the newer technique leads to better bowel function and quality of life 6 months after surgery, with fewer complications.
