This study compared two types of bowel-cleansing medicines—sodium picosulfate/magnesium citrate and polyethylene glycol—in 440 adults in Taiwan who needed a colonoscopy. The goal was to see which one cleans the bowel better and is safer and easier to take. Results help doctors choose the best preparation for patients.
