Major review aims to speed up bowel cancer diagnosis for thousands
NCT ID NCT07430527
Summary
This study looks back at how the NHS in Lothian, Scotland, diagnosed bowel cancer in about 25,000 patients over three years. The goal is to see how well the current system works, including its costs and accuracy, to find ways to make it faster and better at catching cancer early. It will not test new treatments but will use existing patient records to learn how to improve the process.
