Could Cow's first milk stop Kids' painful infections?

NCT ID NCT06164600

Summary

This study tested whether a daily supplement made from cow's colostrum (the first milk) could help prevent recurring urinary tract infections (UTIs) in children. Sixty children with a history of frequent UTIs were randomly assigned to take either the colostrum supplement or a placebo for one month, and then followed for six months to see how many infections they got. The goal was to find a safe, natural option to reduce the need for repeated antibiotic treatments.
