Summary

This study tested whether a bougie (a flexible tool) or a stylet (a rigid tool) helps beginner doctors place a breathing tube more successfully on the first try. 136 sixth-year medical students practiced on a manikin after training. The study measured first-attempt success and how long each attempt took.
