Summary
This study tested whether adding mirror therapy to Botox injections can better reduce arm spasticity in stroke survivors. Thirty patients who had a stroke at least three months earlier received Botox injections and then either mirror therapy or a sham treatment. Researchers measured muscle tone and arm function before and six months after treatment to see if the combination improves movement and reduces the need for repeat injections.
