First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tested whether injecting botulinum toxin type A (Botox) into two areas of the penis and surrounding muscles could help men with lifelong premature ejaculation last longer during sex. 150 men received either Botox or a placebo injection, and researchers tracked their ejaculation time, sexual satisfaction, and safety over six months. The goal was to see if this treatment could be a new option for men who don't respond to standard therapies.
