Botox trial for chronic skin disease withdrawn before starting

NCT ID NCT06237465

Summary

This study aimed to test whether Botox injections could help control hidradenitis suppurativa, a painful skin condition that causes recurring abscesses and nodules. The trial planned to enroll people with active underarm lesions to see if Botox could reduce the number and severity of these painful bumps. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available.
