Ancient herb put to the test in modern pain study
NCT ID NCT07109843
Summary
This study aims to understand how a Boswellia serrata supplement might work to reduce pain. Researchers will give the supplement or a placebo to 12 healthy volunteers and then use a capsaicin (hot pepper) patch to create temporary pain and sensitivity on the skin. They will measure if the supplement changes how people feel this pain, their mood, and sleep quality.
