First human test of new cancer drug shows promise and risks
NCT ID NCT03396445
Summary
This early-stage study aimed to find a safe dose and understand how the body processes a new experimental drug called boserolimab. It involved 182 adults with advanced cancers, including lung and breast cancer, who had run out of standard treatment options. Researchers tested boserolimab given alone and in combination with other cancer drugs to check for side effects and see how the drug behaves in the body.
