Summary
This study tested whether a special glass wound dressing helps heal diabetic foot ulcers faster than standard care alone. About 148 adults with diabetes and a foot sore that had not healed for at least 4 weeks took part. Researchers measured complete healing, wound size reduction, and quality of life over 12 weeks.
