NCT ID NCT03754114
First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study compares two standard methods for treating severe traumatic brain injury in the ICU. One method monitors only brain pressure, while the other also tracks brain oxygen levels. Researchers want to see if adding oxygen monitoring helps improve recovery and survival. About 1,094 patients aged 14 and older with severe head injuries are taking part.
