Summary
This study tested a new way to monitor bone flaps after head and neck reconstruction. Surgeons placed a tiny probe directly into the bone to measure key chemicals that show whether the bone is getting enough blood. The goal was to see if this method is feasible and reliable. 34 adults who had bone flap surgery took part.
