First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests whether a special bone cement (made with bioactive glass) combined with ultrasound can safely stabilize bones and reduce pain in people with advanced cancer that has spread to the pelvis. Only 8 participants will receive the treatment alongside standard care, and researchers will watch closely for side effects. The goal is to see if this approach is safe enough to move forward in larger trials.
