Scientists use sound to map blood flow in bones for astronaut health

NCT ID NCT06206031

Summary

This study tested a new, non-invasive ultrasound method to see and measure blood flow inside bones. Researchers worked with 30 healthy male volunteers to see if this tool could reliably detect changes in bone blood flow during simple physical tests. The goal is to develop a better way to study bone health, with potential future applications for astronauts in space.
