First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests an experimental drug called BO-112, injected directly into basal cell skin cancer tumors before they are surgically removed. The goal is to see if the drug is safe and helps shrink or eliminate the cancer. About 60 adults with low- or high-risk basal cell carcinoma will participate, and researchers will check for tumor response at surgery and for recurrence up to 2 years later.
