New study aims to ease the burden on bone marrow transplant caregivers

Summary
This study tests a special support program (BMT-CARE) for people caring for a loved one undergoing a bone marrow transplant. The goal is to see if the program improves the caregiver's quality of life and reduces their stress. About 800 caregivers will be randomly assigned to either receive the program or standard care, and their well-being will be tracked over time.
